This is what Trump should understand about Iran … Iran is withheld in an authoritarian state not just by one or two leaders but by a network created by the Supreme Leader. The Supreme Leader has setup several institutions that spy, track and control all major democratic operations in Iran which includes the Presidency itself.

Even the Iranian President … Iranian elections and politics … who can run for elections and who cannot … who can run for President and who cannot … all of these decisions are made by the Supreme Leader and his institutions.

If you want to free Iran from an authoritarian rule … if you want to create democracy in Iran for more than 90 million Iranian people then simply eliminating one or two layers of politicians will not bring about this change … because the Supreme Leader has setup several institutions that “maintain the system” … that maintain this authoritarian rule over Iran.

IRGC … Iranian Revolutionary Guard
This is the top institution involved in the top politics as well as in military operations in Iran. Its ideology, policies and principles … all of them are dictated and formed by the prior Supreme Leader.

If Trump wants to resume strikes, Netanyahu will only tell him to start striking power plants and civilian infrastructure … because Netanyahu’s objective is ethnic cleansing … the wiping out of the entire civilization … creating a genocide and clear the ground of Jewish settlements and occupation. Netanyahu will put you on a disastrous and genocidal track.

Instead of creating a genocide and on the other hand, instead of allowing authoritarian rule to continue in Iran … Trump should instead wipe out the institutions that facilitate and maintain this authoritarian rule over Iran.

  • Execution of Imam Khomeini’s Order (Setad)
  • Mostazafan Foundation
  • Imam Khomeini Relief Foundation
  • Foundation of Martyrs and Veteran Affairs

Cultural & Media Propagation

  • Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB)
  • Islamic Development Organization
  • Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution

Destroying these “systems” in Iran will help you create a free and democratic Iran. Don’t go after civilian infrastructure and don’t sign up deals with authoritarian monsters. Instead wipe out the systems that are facilitating authoritarian rule over Iran.

Even today, it is the IRGC who is dictating what the Iranian President should do and should not. Because of the conflicting opinions with IRGC, the Iranian President is resigning. Just imagine the influence of IRGC.

If you want to free Iran then …

One. There should be no Supreme Leader at all
Iran should be free from any Supreme Leader … there is no place for a Supreme Leader in a democracy. The top place should be of the President and each political position should be “chosen by the people” … not by the Supreme Leader and not by any institution setup by the Supreme Leader. The Iranian people should run the country and not the Supreme Leader.

If you are seeing that they are immediately selecting the next Supreme Leader in Iran, it means that the institutions setup by the Supreme Leaders are in motion. This is exactly what happened the moment Trump destroyed the first two layers of political leaders.

Currently, it is the IRGC that is running the country and not the President and not any politician … which is why there is zero change in Iran’s policies towards its people and zero change in its approach towards America.

Two. Dismantle all institutions setup by the Supreme Leader
These institutions are designed to overcome and dismantle democracy in Iran and facilitate the authoritarian rule of one person in Iran, that is the Supreme Leader. All of these institutions have to be dismantled.

Next phase … they will flee
Just like political leaders ran for their lives and fled to other countries because they were being targeted by Trump … similarly, the moment Trump turns the heat on IRGC, they will also start fleeing Iran and abandon their positions in these institutions. Dismantling these institutions should not be that difficult.

Trump should ask them to stop working for these institutions and give up their positions … if they don’t want to get targeted.

Making peace and signing agreements with such authoritarian organizations doesn’t make any sense and it will change nothing for the Iranian people or for America.

Ways ahead for Trump
Technically … with the current intel and advisors that you have … you have two choices. Unfortunately, both of these choices will be seen as your failure.

Choice One. Sign a peace deal with Iran
If you sign a peace deal with Iran where there is zero change in the leadership’s views on America and they are still same authoritarian ideology … then it doesn’t make any sense. Iran will celebrate their victory against America … America and Trump will be the ones who will be seen as failures … who failed to change or win against Iran.

Choice Two. Genocidal track
This is the track that Netanyahu wants … complete elimination of all public amenities and services … creating mass casualties, deaths and destruction … ethnic cleansing and genocide. A bombing campaign without any direction … without any specific targets … this is what it will create … total genocide.

Even this is a failure track where America and Trump will been in bad light.

This is the best that your advisors will know … they will not be able to make any other suggestions. But if you understand how Iran is designed … who these revolutionaries are … how they have structured the “Islamic Revolution” in Iran … then you can make very specific targeted moves and dismantle the core of the authoritarian regime.

Difference between Iran and Venezuela
You might have observed that there is a huge difference in Iran and Venezuela. Venezuela gave up very quickly and started negotiating with you. Why? Because Venezuela has only “one layer” of government. Yes, it is shithole Socialist government … but still it is only one layer of government.

Once you destroy their military and take down their leaders … then you have effectively terminated the government’s capability to fight back. But the same doesn’t apply to Iran. Iran has a secondary layer of government … led and controlled by the Supreme Leader and his institutions. They have setup an entire “system” of institutions to control democracy and manage such scenarios where the leaders might be taken down.

Right now, you have taken down Iran’s military and two layers of leaders … as per your advisors, you have dismantled all powers of the country. But to your surprise, Iran continues to maintain its stand … continues to threaten … continues to manage its country with an authoritarian hand … how? Institutions set up by the Supreme Leader … the secondary layer of government that manages the frontend democratic government.

Its good that you have knocked out the first layer of government … now, simply knock down the second layer as well. Then you will find a totally different Iran that you will be dealing with. This will make things a lot more easier for you.

Keep this in mind … “America owns Iran now … you own and control all of Iran. No negotiations … they should do exactly what you say.” They will enter this state the moment you knock out this second layer of government in Iran.
