Your objective should be total control of the oil and gas in the country by the “US Government” … not by US companies. The US Government should get full control of the oil. This will lead to hundreds of billions in revenue for the US government … which means hundreds of billions in revenue for the American people.

Beware of rebel groups
The important part is that … you have to get it right. Beware of the “armed groups” that the Establishment will prop up … which will aim to capture and control oil fields. Now, Venezuela is without a leader … there is a leadership vacuum … every Tom, Dick and Harry will play their cards … especially Establishment elements.

Eliminate rebels by ruling over Venezuela by their own people
Your immediate next move should be to form a Venezuelan government by the Venezuelan people … elections should be held and a proper “Democratic” government should be established. No more Communist or Socialist crap. You have to ban all Communist and Socialist parties. For this … you have to work with Venezuelan leaders from within.

You need Venezuelan leaders … army and government to work with you. You should never try to rule over them … this will result in revolts and a never ending war. Rule over them using their own people.

  • The next government is Democratic
  • Totally pro-American and
  • They should give the US Government complete oil and gas management rights for the next 50 / 100 years.

You can look at initial days of a “military rule” if needed
You can work with some military generals to flush out the junk from Venezuela … namely all psycho Communist and Socialist parties and leaders … establish the new norm … let the new parties get created … manage the elections and make sure that the right leaders come to power.

Setup a US base in Venezuela if needed. This is something like “indirect political management” by the military. This is also done in Turkey when its needed. If the political parties get too extreme then the military intervenes … overthrows the party and brings moderates in power.

So, your first phase in averting a needless lengthy war in the country … would be management of the country via military generals … until the right political parties are formed to lead the country.
