He should preferably focus on missile launch sites and Iran’s stockpiles of missiles. The major issue with Iran is that … it has manufactured tens of thousands of missiles and it also responds via a shower of missiles when attacked. So, military wise … if Trump is planning an attack then he should disable Iran’s capability to respond.

Politically, he should favor and support the Iranian people’s right to voice their concerns and support full democratic rights for the people.

Break through their military ranks
Tactically, to root out the current regime without a major war … Trump should find a way to break their military ranks. The internal issue with Iran is that … it is a police state or a military state. On one side, they have built a massive police and military force … and on the other side, we have a people who are abused, suppressed and silenced. The Iranian government expects its own people to revolt and be against the government … they already know it and expect it … thus, they rule via brute force.

Don’t create a civil war in Iran
Taking down of such governments is very easy … provided you can break through their military ranks. Another option is providing weapons to the people but it leads to a massacre and a long civil war … which is exactly what Barack Obama did in Syria. After several years of war, Bashar Al Assad came back to power … he was later overthrown by “an internal military force”. What Barack couldn’t do in years … the internal military force did it within days.

So, technically speaking … even if you attack Iran now … then you are the only military force against the Iranian government … so, the regime can still last for a while. But while you disable Iran’s missile launch capabilities and wipe its missile stock piles … if you also work on getting the Iranian generals and military on your side … then the takeover can be very easy.

Understand the limitations of the people
Right now, the only entity that you have on your side is the Iranian people. Its a good thing … you will come off as an Iranian hero … but the limitations of the people is that … they are not an armed force … they cannot fight against the police or military forces. Secondly, their resources are limited … these protests cannot last for a long time. The country is shutdown … there is no work … technically, everyone is relying on their savings.

The ongoing protests cannot be a long term game. The more this prolongs, the more adversely it will affect the people. Your actions have to be swift and highly effective.

How to win the country without a war
Another way of doing this is … the scenario in Iran is “Mullahs Vs the People”. If you can knock down Iran’s capability to respond and then extract these Mullahs from Iran … just like you did with Maduro … then it could be a game changer. Offer them amnesty … exile them from Iran … on the condition that they give up power and allow the democratic restructuring of Iran.

Extract all top Mullahs from Iran
You are not looking at extracting one or two of these Mullahs. You are looking at extracting everyone right from the Supreme Leader to most of the Cabinet members. Just extract all of these bullshit leaders who control the police and military forces … then automatically, you will have Iran’s powers in your hands.

An easy way to control Iran
In this strategy, you are not looking at a long term war or mass casualties. Disable their military capabilities just enough so that you can do your extraction process easily … then their entire military or police force will be yours. Enlist all of these top Mullahs and leaders of the Revolutionary Guard and the military and whatever. Make a nice list … and pick all of them. And then you control Iran.

You are an excellent player … you are playing the game well. You can win the country without a war.
