Trump should explore the option of having a totally transparent bulletproof shield erected in front of him and behind him during rallies. Like a glass wall … but totally transparent … with an ellipse curvature … one in front and one behind … so that someone cannot take a shot from even the sides.

I know Trump might prefer to have a free direct interaction … but given the conditions that we have … a 10 feet curved wall in front and behind that’s totally transparent will greatly increase Trump’s security in public events.

Wherever Trump is going to speak, the stage itself should be designed in this manner. In fact, this should be the initiative of the Secret Service itself … they should verify the bulletproof capability of the material and then construct the stage accordingly.

The above illustration is the top view of the venue where Trump is going to speak to the public. This is the description of each item by its number.

  1. This is Trump’s stage from where he is going to speak … the light green box.
  2. That’s the public seated in front of the stage … the pink box. A similar seating can also be done behind Trump’s stage … it shouldn’t matter.
  3. That’s exactly where Trump will stand to speak on the stage … the small dark green box.
  4. This is the front 10 feet transparent bulletproof wall in front of Trump.
  5. This is the bigger semi-circle that is the 10 feet transparent bulletproof wall behind Trump.
  6. The red arrows are the angles that shooters can use to aim at Trump.
  7. The opening between the smaller and bigger semi-circles serve as the entry and exit points for the bulletproof area

If such a setup is erected … these are the benefits …

  • It would literally enclose Trump in a totally bulletproof area from all 360 degree angles possible.
  • Doesn’t matter where the shooter places himself … inside the venue or outside the venue … the bulletproof wall will easily stop the bullet.
  • The walls will be totally transparent, thus, they will not obstruct Trump’s interaction with the people.
  • There will be cameras and screens placed in the venue which will make it easy for the public to see Trump. They will have no obstruction in seeing Trump.
  • There will be speakers placed all across the venue so Trump will be heard very clearly with no obstruction at all.
  • If more security is needed, a bulletproof top can also be created above the two walls so that any incursion from the top can also be handled.
  • The setup is re-usable. It can dismantled and erected wherever Trump makes a public appearance.

This set up is not expensive at all … it costs peanuts … but it would greatly enhance the President’s security.
